It's been a long time since I've posted anything but since I use this blog as a way to journal family moments I wanted to make sure to post this conversation between A and myself.
A and I were in the car listening to KLove (Christian radio station) and as usual, A asked me what the song was talking about. This particular song was talking about the different qualities of God. Her and I talked for a couple of minutes about God and what He is like. There was silence for a couple of seconds and then A said, "maybe God is a Daddy God." In learning about who God is A thought of R. I can't think of a higher compliment then that!!

Family of 20 vacations in NH
This summer my side of the family (all 20 of us!) took a week long vacation in NH. It was filled with relaxation, laughs, silly faces, ice cream, kayaking, boating, swimming, castle making, splish-splashing fun!
Not a bad view to wake-up to!
R saw this advertisement outside of a gas station and couldn't help snapping a shot of The Huff.
This was at a 4th of July parade. I guess A didn't want to be bothered with a photo opt while she was sucking on her lolly pop. :)
Uncle K took A out on her first kayaking excursion...to the dock and back. :)

A the Baker turns THREE!
A chose to have red velvet cupcakes for her birthday party with some of her friends. This is her baking away. The red velvet has less to do with the taste and much more to do with the fact that her favorite color is RED!

M's First Steps
My mom was visiting for the day when M decided to take her very first steps. I think it was a thank you to her Grandma for sitting in traffic for two hours. :)
