Mother's Day Weekend

For Mother's Day weekend we spent the day on Saturday at a local farm. As you can see in the first picture, A was more interested in the rocks than the animals during this visit.

On Mother's Day we went to a local beach/park after church. A LOVES her bike and the swing set.

This Mother's Day I feel so blessed to have my husband and two beautiful little girls to spend the weekend with!!

Bubbles, Boots and Baby

Here are a few pictures of us playing outside with A's new bubbles. A's all time favorite shoe apparel is her yellow rain boots so it made perfect sense on one of the warmest and sunniest days of Spring that she would ask to wear them.

Our happy little 11 week old baby girl.

A Reading Panda Bear book

The other day A picked up her "Panda Bear" book and started reading it to herself. I happened to capture it on camera. If you've never read this book it goes something like, "Panda bear panda bear what do you see? I see a Bald Eagle looking at me." Then the next page says, "Bald Eagle Bald Eagle what do you see? I see a water buffalo looking at me.." ect. The animals that you'll hear A say are: Panda bear, bald eagle, water buffalo, spider monkey, sea turtle, macaroni penguin, sea lion, red wolf, whooping crane.

Happy Easter

For Easter on Sunday R's folks joined us for Church, lunch and a little outdoor fun. Here are some pics from our day together.

This is our first family picture since we've become a family of FOUR!

I think R and his dad and Nana and M called each other to coordinate outfits. :)

My new favorite picture of A...

Singing & Dancing A

Sometimes you just have to sing, dance and wear your daddy's t-shirt on your head.

M's two-month old check-up

Today we took M to the Doctor's office for her two month appointment. She is 23 inches long and weighs 11lbs 9 oz bringing her to the 90 percentile for both height and weight. She loves her milk!

Here is our two month old beauty after big sister A very happily put a sticker on her nose.

Playtime AFTER work

There were many things about R's 90 minute commute and long hours that were a challenge but one thing that was always something we longed for was time to play outside after work, but no matter the season R would always be home after the sun had gone down and moon was out so you can imagine how blessed we felt yesterday when we had our first chance to play together outside as a family AFTER work. R texted me at 4:28 yesterday afternoon letting me know he was out of work and by 4:50 the four of us were outside enjoying the beautiful Spring weather!!

After playing together we even had plenty of time to run some errands as a family, have dinner and play a little more before A's bedtime. I hope to never forget what a thrill it is to run an errand with my family during the week. It is a blessing I pray I never loose and always thank God for! There are no words I could write in this post to adequately express how amazing it is to have R home with us girls 3-5 hours earlier than we are used to. AMAZING!!!!
