Trip to PA

To end the summer on a high note the girls and I took a trip to PA to visit my sister, C and her two little ones. We went to a children's museum, played at C's community kiddy pool/sprinklers, splashed about in the bath tub, played on the floor next to each other and laughed a lot!

The Girls First Trip to an Amusement Park

This summer we went to a local amusement park for A's first try at going on rides. While she had fun on a few of them, her favorite part was the DJ they had in the kiddy area. We were walking and all of a sudden she heard the music and broke out into dance.

Vacation in Cape Cod

Last week we took our first vacation as a family of four and headed to the Cape to vacation with R's brother and his family. A and M loved playing with their cousins K and L!! Here are some of the pictures.

If you look closely you can see M is trying to lick R's cheek. :)

Our little fish of a daughter loves to play in the water no matter how cold it may be!

More pictures of our trip to come...

M at six months!

M had her six month appointment today. She is in the 75th percentile for height and weight at 26 1/2 inches and 17.9 lbs. As you can see from these two pics, she is healthy, smiling and super cute!

A talking to herself

In my last post I described A's fun-loving personality. She gave us a perfect example the other day after breakfast when she was excused from the table. It went something like this.

A begins singing as she walks around the living room.
A: Do you hear that? Do you hear that?
A (responding to the question she asked herself): Yes, you are making noises.
A continues singing. :)

A at Two!

At A's two year old check-up she was 35.25 inches and 27lbs 8 oz.

Here are some fun facts about our two year old beauty:

A LOVES to sing! She will sing for hours (literally) in her crib at times if she doesn't feel like napping.

A uses the word you (or your) in place of me (or my). Example: Please pick you up. Play with you at your kitchen set.

She loves to play with ants (definitely did not get this passion from her mom!), anything that involves water and chasing birds.

A's curious personality is constantly causing her to ask "do you hear that?" And will repeat the question until you explain to her what the noise is that she heard.

A likes to pray in the car and with her baby doll.

When she feels uncomfortable with someone she will "hide" by covering her eyes with her hands until she warms up to them and is comfortable.

A has an awesome imagination, a caring heart, an infectious hearty laugh that draws people to her wherever we go. We love you A!
