First Days at Home
I had many dreams of days like these over the last 3 years. I look at these pictures and am overwhelmed that this is now my life. These are my children ALL together. I get to be there mom and I get to have them all under one roof. Although things are far from perfect as we all have lots of adjusting to do it feels like a piece of heaven landed right into my lap.

Trip Of A Life Time: Meeting U
After 3 1/2 years of waiting to bring our son home we were finally given the approval we had be waiting for! We packed and planned as fast as possible and set out to bring our family together under one roof. Thank you God!! U would finally be in our arms!!!
We traveled the last week in February and on March 1, 2016 we met U for the first time at his foster family's home. They are a loving and welcoming family who shared the love of Jesus and filled him with lots of love and laughter when we couldn't be there for him. We are forever grateful to God and to this family for the blessings that they provided to us during this wait.
We were invited to sit in their backyard with their family while we waited for them to bring U out to us. The foster mother's father asked to pray for us and just as I was about to close my eyes, I saw U come out of the back of the house in the corner of my eye. I looked briefly and then closed my eyes. It was a beautiful and long pray. We opened our eyes and there he was. He stood a few feet away from us looking timid and nervous. We tried to help him feel comfortable. R blew up a ball for him in hopes that would help ease his nerves.
He was perfect. We were/are so in love with him and are so so honored to be his mommy and daddy. He eventually let me hold him and we made our way to the hotel. And after a few days of getting to know each other and waiting for the one document that we had waited all of these years for we set off for the U.S.
