Grandpa's Birthday Party

When R, A and I moved this summer it was something that I had mixed emotions about. I was moving further away from my parents and from my older sister and her family. Despite still living in the same state, we would now be close to two hours away instead of just around the corner. As it turns out, the house that we bought has turned out to be a great meeting point for the whole family. It is the mid point (more or less) for all of my siblings to be able to get together. For my dad's Birthday this weekend, everyone came to our house to celebrate what an amazing father, grandpa and husband he continues to be.

Here is E and Grandpa (dad) opening a gift together. I guess no one else got the memo about wearing red. :)

My cute nephew T who is just a few weeks younger than A. What a smile!

Me and my niece P. I don't need to go tanning to be in a picture with her. :)
This is a series of pictures of my parents and all of their grandkids. You can see that A started out content patting her cousins head but soon the paparazzi (me and my siblings snapping picture after picture) got the best of her. Lesson learned: Never wait until bedtime to try and take pictures with 8 kids under the age of 7.

Happy Birthday Dad!
